One and a half month waiting with the result that I am coming home earlier than expected. First I thought it is only a practice in patiency but now I know that it is a lesson to be ready to change your plans....More than a month ago we reached the boarder to Myanmar full of hope and happiness to experience a new country....but our entry was denied.

As I am an optimistic person I kept...

Still a long way home...after 5 month in India I am continuing my cycling tour: Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, China, Mongolia, Russia,...Going back I decided on a combination of cycling and trains. Therefore I am parting for a while from my long companion - I am giving the big Pino Tandem a rest and it is enjoying a ship journey to Germany. Meanwhile I am making use of my old school cycle which...

Having reached Neyyattinkara after 7month of cycling (12000 km) I enjoy meeting my old friends from my social service back in 2011. Great to contribute to social and ecological projects in the area again. Circular economy and a society without discrimination are my main priorities for the 4 month here.

People often ask me what I have learned on this Tour4life…It is impossible to say and...

Safely reached Pakistan and got an amazing friendly welcome here -plenty of invitations, good talks and positive responses for my cycling. People are so happy that despite international media is reducing their country on terrorism and catastrophy, some tourists still visit the place. Intercultural dialouge is for me one of the most important basics for peace and it is wonderful how many...
